Precision Air Services Plc is a fast growing private Tanzanian airline which operates in Partnership with Kenya Airways, with its strategies to expand wings beyond East Africa and Africa.

POSITION:            BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST

REPORTS TO:        MANAGER‐IS DEVELOPMENT

DUTY STATION:    DAR ES SALAAM

Role Purpose Statement: ‐ To work very closely with business system owners and users to ensure that business solutions implemented meet or exceed internal customer requirements, and that improvements are continuously identified and implemented.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities

·         Work very closely with internal customers to analyze perform business process and of processes and workflow so as to create documentation requirements for the development of functional/technical specifications;

·         Ensure there is an appropriate level of analysis and research of alternatives and participation of internal customers, to deliver objective recommendations;

·         Co‐ordinate and participate in the planning, design and implementation of new systems to meet the set business objectives;

·         Co‐ordinate and fully participate in quality assurance testing for new systems to confirm process integrity and relevance to the business;

·         Work with project team and users to conduct user acceptance testing including creation of business cases, testing scripts and manage change requests;

·         Maintain excellent customer care and communication with the internal client, project manager, technical resources (both internal and external) to ensure project milestones are being met;

·         Co‐ordinate project team and cross‐functional activities to ensure alignment of the project deliverables;

·         Continuously undertake periodic re‐evaluation of systems and processes in area of participation and create initiatives and projects to implement the necessary improvements;

·         Design and develop application software including database and EMIS, scanning software and other required office automation software;

·         Any other duties as may be assigned by Head of the department from time‐to‐time

Minimum Qualifications:

·  At least Bachelors’ Degree in Information Technology.

·         Professional qualifications Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA/MCP), OCP etc is a must.
