Living Water International (LWI) is a global non-governmental organization that exists to demonstrate the love of God by helping communities acquire desperately needed clean water, and to experience "living water"—the gospel of Jesus Christ—which alone satisfies the deepest thirst. Living Water Service Centre is based in Nairobi and is looking to provide an internship to recent graduates for a period of 6 months with the possibility of the internship being extended.
Program Assistant
Duties:
• Provide administrative support to the Country Director by:
o Managing the Director’s diary and appointments;
o Organizing special events and meetings as requested;
o Reviewing certain documentation for approval;
o Following up with departments to submit their monthly reports;
• Support the general office with administration and correspondence;
• Order office supplies as and when required.
The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications, skills and experience:-
• New graduate - Bachelors degree (Program Management, Business Administration);
• Excellent English written and verbal communication;
• Quick learner, have a “can do” attitude;
• Excellent attention to detail;
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications;
• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
• Self-directed, highly motivated, reliable;
• Non profit experience is an advantage.
