Organizational Setting |
The Division of Budget and Finance (MTBF), part of the Department of Management, is responsible for the financial management of the IAEA and is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for consideration for short term assignments to perform accounting, finance, treasury and other related tasks. With the implementation of AIPS (Agency wide Information and Programme Support System) and IPSAS (International Public Sector Accounting Standards), there is a continuing need for temporary assistance in MTBF to support the regular finance tasks, as well as, specialized tasks associated with the implementation of the new information systems and accounting standards. |
Assignment |
At the G4 level, under supervision, provides support in processing of transactions, initiation and approval processes, or assistance in the use of corporate financial systems. At the G5 level, under supervision, performs moderately specialized tasks in the accounting and finance function. Some of the tasks of the temporary assignments may include:

The IAEA offers an attractive remuneration package including a tax-free annual net base salary starting at €33 526 (G-4) or €38 791 (G-5) (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance), six weeks' annual vacation, pension plan and health insurance. |
