The project
The purpose of this proposed Technical Assistance is to realize a series of training seminars that will ensure ACP and EU private sector stakeholders will be able to have full benefits from the COM4DEV platform.
Position required:
Administrative and logistic expert
Tasks to be performed:
- Assist in organising the logistics for training workshops
- Manage the event on Com4Dev by sending invitations and confirming invitees’ attendance to the workshop;
- Assist participants with their flights bookings, hotel bookings;
- Negotiate preferential rates for the Conference participants with good international standard hotels;
- Provide additional on the spot assistance to participants that may have an issue with their logistics, including rebooking, etc.
- Following the requirements provided by PRO€INVEST, organise the payment of their per diems and the reimbursement of the plane tickets for the eligible participants on the training site.
Profile
- Relevant degree.
- Practical and well organised.
- Flexible, problem solver and good resistance to stress.
- Experience in events management/organisation
- Understanding of EU procedures regarding procurement.
- Working experience in ACP countries.
Duration of the assignment:
80 working days during 5 calendar months
Intended commencement date: early June
