This position is located in the Documents Management Unit (DMU), Planning, Coordination and Meetings Section (PCMS), Conference Management Service (CMS), United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV). The incumbent works under the supervision of the Chief, Documents Management Unit.

Education
High school diploma or equivalent. Must have passed the United Nations Administrative Support Assessment Test (ASAT) or the Global General Service Test (GGST) at Headquarters or an equivalent locally-administered test at Offices Away from Headquarters.

Work Experience
Seven years of progressively responsible experience in conference services, processing of multilingual official documentation/correspondence or related area, preferably in an international organization is required. Working experience with documents management systems such as Documents, Conference and Production Management System (DCPMS) and/or with maintaining and utilizing terminology databases, and performing referencing is highly desirable. Work experience with United Nations standards and rules on handling and control of documentation and working experience with IT applications for processing documentation and terminology work is an asset.

English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For this position, fluency in English, i.e. oral and written proficiency, is required. Knowledge of other official United Nations languages are an advantage.
