MAIN PURPOSE
The Manager: Identity & Access Management is accountable for implementing processes - underpinned by technology - which effectively manage user identities, user access and privileged access for Vodacom Group.
JOB OBJECTIVES
As a Manager: Identity & Access Management your main responsibilities will involve:
Managing the implementation of Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) in Vodacom group
Engaging with stakeholders to agree the controls and policies which are needed for ensuring compliance with corporate aspirations for identity access management, and privileged access management, and for addressing risks related to both physical and logical access management
Ensuring that a technology strategy is formulated, encompassing user access management, authentication (including multi-factor authentication) and management of access to privileged accounts (e.g. servers, network switches), undperpinned by a business case
Overseeing the technology roadmap for implementing the necessary capabilities and for deploying IAM and PAM capabilities in Vodacom Group
Developing and overseeing operations functions a) for supporting users and b) for supporting responsible operational functions in ensuring compliance objectives are achieved
Ensuring that managers and staff are trained in user access management processes
Developing a service model/framework for shared IAM and PAM services with Vodacom group company members, and ensuring that the terms of the service are met

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Grade 12 / Matric * essential
3 year relevant degree or diploma (majoring in Information Systems)
5 – 8 years’ experience in IT management, with focus on project management, systems development and/or IT security
Including:
At least 3 years’ experience in management, of leading a team of at least 6 members or more
At least 3 years exposure to either IAM or PAM projects
Risk management
IT Controls (e.g. Cobit)
