Senior Credit Controller: Corporate at Vodacom

MAIN PURPOSE
To manage the Vodacom Business and Specialised Subscriber credit collection portfolio and ensure that the accounts are paid when due.

JOB OBJECTIVES
Allocate cash payments timeously of customer accounts
Minimise bad debt
Follow up on non-payments
Negotiate payments on high usage accounts
Do specialised reporting - billing and reconciliation
Initiate and conduct special investigations of client disputes
Prepare and consolidate Team feedback dispute report
Compile and maintain daily cash report
Attend certain client meetings without management supervision
Understand the VB billing complexities
Proactively collect on accounts before they fall into arrears
Negotiate settlement discounts
Identify and prevent fraudulent activities

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Matric/Grade 12 (Essential)
Diploma in Credit Management or studying towards a Business degree (Advantageous)
Minimum 2 years’ Credit Control experience (Essential)
