Senior Associate - Finance & Accounting

Roles & Responsibilities

To manage and deliver consulting assignments which involves :
•Reviewing and advising on accounting and financial management systems
•Internal control mechanism
•Public procurement
•Operational reviews and cost analysis
•Business planning and feasibility studies
•Monitoring and evaluation
•Surveys and market research. 

Requirements

•First Degree in Finance/ Business Administration/ Accounting/Procurement/ Development Management
•MBA/MSc (with Finance/ Business Administration/ Procurement) is desirable

Job Experience:
At least 3 years experience in a combination of the following areas: Public Sector, Public Financial Management, Public Procurement, Development Management and general onsulting in a professional services environment.


Job Related Skills and Competencies:
•Team player with skills and experience in working on diverse projects and with multi cultural teams
•Possess strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
•Well-developed interpersonal skills
•Innovative, a good communicator and have organisational skills
•Demonstrate high level of maturity and integrity
•Undertake business development through active identification of leads, conversion of leads to contracted engagements
•Should have an experience in writing expression of interests and proposals
•Should be computer literate, should be conversant with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power point
•Should be highly motivated and a self starter with good time management skills
•Should be proactive, flexible and able to meet deadlines
•Demonstrate an ability to coach and mentor junior staff and project teams.
