ICT Security Analyst , Diamond Trust Bank

DTB is looking for capable and qualified individuals to fill the following positions:

ICT Security Analyst (Head Office - DSM) .
Reporting to Head -ICT Security. the incumbent will be responsible for maintaining the security and integrity of the Bank's data.

Key Responsibilities:
Research, implement, test and review Bank's information security in order to protect information and prevent unauthorized access.
Gather information necessary to maintain security and establish
functioning extremal barriers such as firewall and other security measures.
Assess the impacts on system modifications and technological advances.
Enhancing and integrating the function for Bank-wide Risk
Management across DTB",
Building capacity and the ability to identity. measure, monitor and control the underlying risk that the Bank continues to face mainly
Strategic, Credit, liquidity, Interest Rate, Price, Foreign Exchange Rate, Operation, Reputational and Regulatory.
Identify and resolve any performance issues.
Distribute and control the tasks to be performed by the employees-in the Department.
Communicate the strategy plans and ideas to the departmental staff
Promote awareness and ensure adherence to all policies &'procedure.

Educational Qualification
Post graduate qualification in Banking, Accounting or Finance e.g. MBA degree "Or any other relevant.
Professional qualifications such as ACCA or CPA is an 'added advantage.

Experience & Competencies Required
Minimum of 10 years banking experience, with atleast 5 years at managerial level in the Risk function.
Demonstrated leadership skills with good word speaking. strong verbal and written communication skills.
A structured approach to dealing task objectives independent.
Managing large volume of information adding qualitative risk thought process.
Able to provide advice and cause/effect evaluation to support risk management decisions.
Independent and logical thinker, yet an achiever and implementer.

Review systems in order to identify potential security weaknesses, recommend improvements to amend vulnerabilities, implement changes and document upgrades.
Publish reports/dashboards to applicable teams as per agreed schedule.
Adhere to policies, procedures, and security practices.

Educational Qualifications
Engineering Graduate / Post Graduate/ Diploma Holder, IT Graduate / Post Graduate, Science Graduate / Post Graduate with IT exposure.
Certification- ECSA, CEH, CCNA Security, Comptia Security+, ClSSP, OSCP (At least one certification].

Experience & Competencies Required
At least 2 years in SOC environment.
Candidates must be highly analytical and effectively able to troubleshoot and prioritize needs, requirements and other issues.
Aside from technical skills, prospective candidates should have excellent communications, teamwork, leadership and conflict management skills.
