Summary:
A reputable organisation in Dar es Salaam is
looking for a Project Manager with a Civil Engineering profession for its
construction activities managing high rise factory buildings. The job station
will be in Dodoma.
Main Duties:
• Execute/inter-face
with all phases of the project including construction, co-ordination with
design and engineering and financial management.
• End-to-end
responsibility for project implementation including quality and safety in
construction and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate
with clients, governmental agencies, sub-contractors and other stake holders
for obtaining required approvals, clearances and settle claims.
Position
Requirements
• More
than 10 years work experience in the construction business
• Aware
of the latest technological trends of the construction industry.
• Preventive
and corrective maintenance of utilities and Guaranteeing up-time and efficiency
of Machinery and Equipment
• Documentation
of engineering activities and Preparation of SOPs
• Project
management / support for future expansions
• Extensive
Knowledge of GMP
• Quality
management and Training of existing engineers.
• Overall
management and administration of the various construction sites. Overseeing
progress of work at all the sites and giving relevant updates to the Senior
management team.
• Mobilizing
site resources in the line with program of works provided by the Senior
management team.
• Establishing
proper internal monitoring, control systems and procedures to improve on
efficiency and productivity.
Education/Training
• Under
Graduate degree in Business Technology or Engineering with any specialization
• Certificate
in Civil/Electrical Engineering
