We are seeking highly qualified individuals to serve as volunteer members for three-year terms, beginning January 1, 2015, on the following independent standard-setting boards: International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (IAASB), International Accounting Education Standards Board (IAESB), International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants (IESBA), and International Public Sector Accounting Standards Board (IPSASB).
Candidates should have technical knowledge of the subject matters considered by a particular board, as well as English proficiency, and be able to commit the required time (approximately 180 to 700 hours per year, depending on the board and travel time). Travel support is available to qualified candidates and public members. Although each candidate will ultimately be selected based on experience, nominations of highly-qualified candidates from Africa and the Middle East for the IAASB and from Latin America for the IESBA are encouraged.
