This Internship is located in the Communications and Engagement unit, Organizational Change Management team of Umoja in the Department of Management in New York. The Intern reports to the designated Communication Team Lead.
The Department of Management/Umoja internship is for two months with an opportunity for extension, pending on the needs of the Office. The internship is UNPAID and full-time. Interns work five days per week (35 hours) under the supervision of a staff member in the department or office to which they are assigned.
Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Communication Team Lead, the Intern will be responsible for:
The following experience/skills/knowledge will be needed in order to carry out the responsibilities described above: Excellent writing and editing skills; experience working in communication or creative projects, experience with tight deadlines and conflicting schedules. Proficiency in all MS Office programmes required. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Dreamweaver, Premiere) and other multimedia software is highly desirable (please list in your PHP).

Applicants must: (a) be enrolled in a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); or
(b) be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum Bachelor's level or equivalent); or
(c) have graduated with a university degree (as defined in (a) or (b) above) and, if selected, must commence the internship within a one year period of graduation.
