We are looking for suitably qualified candidates to fill the following positions:- Responsible for ensuring implementation for both GSM & Airtel Money trade marketing strategy, schemes and plans to drive effective brand communication at the point of sale in all the key retail trade channels
Qualification:
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor of Arts/Business with an understanding of FMCG and sales functions
2. Ability to work well under extremely tight timescale and in high pressure environment
Experience:
1. 2-3 years experience in trade/channel development, sales or marketing
2. Proven ability to analyze complex business issues and identify , design and implement effective practical recommendations
3. Strong Analytical skills
4. Ability to motivate sales teams to execute initiatives and schemes effectively and on time
5. Able to handle, prioritize, multiple project simultaneously
6. Able to operate in performance driven organization
7. Knowledge of English and Swahili
8. Strong understanding of all aspects of marketing, good communication and people skills, understanding of local markets
9. Computer skills specifically excel and power point
Other Requirements:
1. Ability to work under minimum supervision
2. Resilience
3. Creativity (out-of-the box thinking) and Commercial Acumen
Key Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for all trade activations, trade schemes and events to increase ITR (intention to Recommend)
2. Measurement and Monitoring of trade business and programme initiatives in order to proactively manage the achievement of results and to identify opportunities and/or take corrective action.
3. Engage Trade and Retailers on different schemes and activations to increase ITR
This can be achieved by developing, recommending and monitoring various trade schemes in the market
4. Working closely with all the brand activation partners and own sales force and ensure proper implementation so that Airtel gets highest SOGA (Share of New Gross Adds) and SONA (Share of New Net Adds
5. To ensure all the departments/verticals and sales team are fully aligned to support all initiatives and ensure that all initiatives are effectively developed and managed
6. Ensure Schemes, promotions and campaigns awareness through innovative presence at the Point Of Sales
7. Innovatively implement trade activities that will provide competitive advantage to the organization
8. Track performance of all trade schemes on timely basis (daily, weekly and monthly trends) as per the required formats (clusterwise, zonewise etc.
9. Deployment of the BTL activities across trade channels segments in the zone as per defined plans and strategy.
10. Segment Channels of sales and provide schemes and campaigns or promotions that will add value to S&D ecosystem
11. Manage the zonal BTL activities in corporation with sales teams to ensure maximum level of services awareness and ITR
12. Provide Strategic inputs to Marketing Manager – Trade and the top team on critical decisions on BTL deployed by competition and suggest corrective actions/tie-ups.
