Reporting toAdministration Manager
Work Station:Head Office in Dar es Salaam.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
-To oversee the receipt, co-ordination and safety of goods coming through the plant's Warehouse/ Stores.
-To establish efficient scrutiny, stock control and optimum storage conditions for all the company's product lines.
-To co-ordinate the unloading of raw materials from suppliers and loading of waste items to customers and all consignment paperwork.
-To execute and monitor all the materials movements from and into stores/warehouse.
-Responsible for the preparation and process purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures.
-To pian-and manage inventory levels of materials or products.
-To monitor and co-ordinate deliveries of items from suppliers to ensure that all items are delivered to site/store on time.
-To examine the receipt of raw materials/products/services physically.
-To ensure the items are correctly placed in the designated storage according to identity.
-To ensure that all stocks are properly entered in Bin cards, the locations are properly maintained and kept clean and tidy, and access to the Stores is restricted to authorized personnel only.
-To be responsible for verifying physical stock quantities against stock Ledgers/bin cards using either manual or electronic means.
-To process all orders for distribution and incoming delivery and maintain accurate records of all goods in and out of storage.
-To produce accurate records daily reports of the work done, including records of the type of products removed for sale each day, how much was issued, sold and returned.
-To keep accurate records of damaged stock returned and the nature of the damage and to keep accurate records of free stock issued and reason for their issue (e.g. sales promotion, replacement of damaged stock etc.)
-To provide regular Warehouse/Stores information and performance reports.
-To maintain Waste Sales Register and related Bin Cards.
-To ensure proper execution of all store operations and function.
Qualification and Experience Requirements:
-Diploma/Advance Diploma in Procurement/Business Administration.
-Over 2 years experience in Logistic Management with a reputable organization.
-Excellent IT skills particularly in Excel and word processing and management.
-Excellent communication skills, listening, persuasive and work ethics.
-Good at time management, flexible and agile.
