PETROLEUM INSPECTOR(2 Post)
Duty station:Dar es salaam
Petrolium Inspectors will be responsible for carrying out the monitoring of standards of Petroleum products and petroleum infrastructure in the Tanzania Mainland
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
-To participate in the process of establishing stardads for petroleum infrastructure
-To participate in designing of rules regulations for products
-To participate in field inspections on providers of petroleum products so as to establish confirmity with standards
-To assist in soliciting,recording and processing feedback from providers of petroleum products regarding effects of regulatory policies and recommended appropriate action
-To assist in the following up on quality of delivery of petroleum products by licensed providers
-To astudy and recommende appropriate conditions for licensing and supervising providers of petroleum products.
-To participate in working with other divisions to find amicable solutions over disputes involving providers of petroleum products and consumers
-To undertake any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor
Academic Qualifications and Experience:
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications and experience:
-Possession of BSc in Engineering(Petroleum,chemical processing or Mechanical) from recognized University.
-Possession of Knowledge and Competence in Information and communications Technology(ICT) application.
-Possession of not less than three(3) years work of experience in petroleum Industry
