The Software ICS Seller is responsible for the total client relationship with one or more important IBM clients or competitive prospects in East Africa (focus countries being Ethiopia, Tanzania,Uganda and Rwanda) The role involve the coverage of specific industry and including traditional large focus Client/Customers , alliance partners, business partners, distributors and end-users of IBM technology.
Responsible for customer satisfaction, overall territory management and control of business objectives.
Collaborates internally and lead on ICS Solutions sells to prospect Customers, understand customer business environment to respond with the appropriate ICS solution
Demonstrates required proficiency levels for technical and sales skills, as defined for incumbents in this position.
Develops an understanding of sales processes, techniques and tools in the specialty, for the assigned territory. Examples of these techniques include but are not limited to, opportunity territory management, cost justification, acquisition management, services business management and channel management processes.
Develops the ability to plan and execute an effective sales call, either individually or with others.
Acquires new information on selling techniques or SW solution capabilities to enhance sales and professional effectiveness.
Construction of deals from a financial, contractual, legal standpoint, working closely with support functions and WW teams to ensure viable proposals are tabled.
Governance and leadership of the deal progression to closure with client and IBM Executive sponsorship and involvement
Required
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 3 years experience in Apply Knowledge of Software Competitors
- At least 3 years experience in Performing Negotiations in Software Sales
- At least 3 years experience in Implementing the IBM Client Value Method
- At least 3 years experience in Proven Sales track record and team leadership
- At least 4 years experience in Leading an Integrated Team
- English: Fluent
