Position Description:
The State University of Zanzibar (SUZA) is the only public university in Zanzibar established by Act No. B of the House of Representatives of 1999. Since its inception in 2002 it has been expanding in academic programmes as well as student enrolment. Its vision is to be the most preferred University in the Eastern Africa.
SUZA invites applications from suitably qualified and competent Tanzanians to be considered to fill the vacant post:
Qualifications
-Holder of Masters degree in any discipline with a GPA of not less than 3.5 or equivalent at undergraduate level. Should possess enough skills in research undertakings.
Duties and Responsibilities
-Assist Head of the Section in all matters regarding to the respective Section.
-Day today coordination of the Section and correspondence with Head of the Section.
-Editing and assisting with preparation of research documents and Proof reading and amending documents for readability.
-Proposing new programmes and capacity building of the Section.
-To perform any other duties as assigned by his/her supervisor.
