Job Description
- Accountable for the team structure and performance in the Company
- Develop, maintain sound accounting and financial strategies
- Implement accounting and financial changes
- Oversee all financial transactions, documents and key relationships
- Responsible for the Financial Accountability of the business
- Demonstrate IT capability in fully utilizing & integrating the company’s ERP system
- Develop annual accounting / Finance plan in conjunction with the Finance team which details activities to follow during the Fiscal year focusing in meeting organizational objectives
- To oversee all the various dept budgets and delivery of all management / financial reports
- To manage all aspects of accounting / finance and statutory requirements
- The achievement of frequent, timely and positive statutory audits & requirements
- Information for the entire company at a click of a button
- Structure the entire Finance department to enhance accounting efficiency and productivity
- Timely execution of accurate and reliable Month end accounts and accurate Month end financial reporting.
- Monitoring and planning cashflows effectively
- Effective liaison with the Sales, Credit Controller and Procurement Managers together with audit to achieve organizational objectives
Desired Skills & Experience
- Chartered Accountant or an Msc in Accounting, Finance & taxation with 8-10 years experience in a similar role
- Fluency in English a must and local Swahili language will be desirable
- Computer literate with ability to understand MS Office products, especially MS power point
- Must have experience in accounting softwares including ERP systems
- Must be able to work without supervision as a team, managing time efficiently and be able to prioritize work effectively
- Effectively liaison with the Sales, Credit Controller and Procurement Managers together with the Audit Manager to ensure organizational objectives are met
- Must be self-motivated and an effective team leader
- Demonstrate ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees
- Build trust, value others, communicate effectively, drive execution, foster innovation, focus on the customer, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrity
- Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values
- Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all support departments

RTS is the first company of its type in Africa & Middle East to provide superior talent scouting, succession planning and strategic recruitment outsourcing solutions to predominately family-based business groups and conglomerates.
RTS has a similar DNA to that of a top sports/entertainment agency which scouts for talent, but specifically for the business world and for large family business groups.
RTS is not a recruitment agency or traditional recruitment process outsourcing company.
