Position Description:
Provide quality clinical services at Mwenge Hospital in both Outpatient and Inpatient services. Experience in maternal health (ANC, deliveries and Family Planning) is an advantage.
Director of Health Services
The Director of Health Services is a key member of the Executive Management Team and is responsible for bringing modern business and marketing approaches to the organization’s business operations in order to achieve financial sustainability and the effective management and growth of high-quality static and mobile service delivery throughout Tanzania.
The Director of Health Services will work collaboratively with other Executive Management Team members to achieve MST's objectives. The Outreach Manager, Clinical Services Manager and Regional Managers report to the Director of Health Services. The post requires frequent travel within Tanzania.
Process Management Manager (PMM)
The PMM is responsible for ensuring efficient and effective processes of internal controls within MST Support Office and Centres throughout the country. The PMM will work in close coordination with Finance, Administration, Projects and Operations managers and staff to ensure that MST administrative, human resources, financial and programming systems (procedures and protocols) are relevant, efficient, clearly documented, and in compliance with MST policies. The PMM will minimize the number of reportable audit conditions through a pro-active and inclusive approach to management process review and integrity
Assistant Medical Officers - Outreach
Work with MST Outreach Team in providing integrated Family Planning and HIV counseling and testing in an outreach setting. Excellence in clinical quality and customer care is required. AMO's are required to work closely with the team leaders to ensure and efficient and effective outreach.
Laboratory Technicians
Perform tests, record and report results on specimens received in the laboratory in accordance with quality standards and regulations. Perform routine medical laboratory tests for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. Must have a Diploma and must be registered.
Sonographer
Our Dispensary in Zanzibar requires a sonographer to provide much needed services to clients. Must have at least 2 years experience and either Nurse or Clinical Officer qualifications.
Nurse Mid-Wives
Plan and provide professional nursing care for patients at Clinic in accordance with physician orders and established policies and procedures to include collecting and analyzing patient data.
Project Manager
The Project Manager reports to the Director of Projects and is responsible for the management and coordination of assigned donor-funded projects. The Project Manager co-ordinates, monitors and facilitates the activities of all donor funded projects assigned; He/she develops, monitors, evaluates, implements and reviews effectiveness of donor project plans, strategies, policies and activities in line with the projects goals and objectives.
Health Financing Officer
The Health Financing Officer is responsible for supporting MST's Projects and Operations teams in the design, implementation and monitoring of innovative approaches to health financing
As a member of the Business Operations team, the HFO will work closely with the Directors of Business Operations arid Projects and their teams at central and reid level to ensure the attainment of MST goals and objectives though sustainable health financing approaches.
Pharmacy Assistant
Pharmacy Assistant will work with Mwenge team to ensure that the pharmacy is managed efficiently and effectively according to approved guidelines.
Advocacy & Policy Officer
The Advocacy and Policy Officer will work closely with Project Managers and the Communications and Research/Monitoring & Evaluation teams to oversee and implement the advocacy components of projects including an EU-funded workplace HIV/AIDS project with the Tanzanian Police Force and an AusAid-funded project promoting sexual and reproductive health, particularly for youth, in the Coastal and Dar es Salaam Regions.
She/he will take primary responsibility within Marie Stopes Tanzania for monitoring national and international policy on sexual and reproductive health, briefing colleagues and coordinating MST's response.
S/he will also work to strengthen the advocacy capacity of Marie Stopes Tanzania through training and other technical support.
Project Coordinator
The field-based Project Coordinator reports to a Project Manager and is responsible for the co-ordination of assigned
Donor-funded projects at the field level. The Project Coordinator monitors and facilitates the activities of all donor funded projects assigned, participates in project monitoring and evaluation and reports regularly- from the field to.MST –
Support Office in Dar es Salaam.
