The Web Analytics Analyst position involves capturing and formatting data, and producing reports containing data related to web traffic, sales, and related metrics. This position works closely with the other teams within the eCommerce Sales and Operations area and Consumer Marketing as well as other cross-divisional teams such as IT and Finance, to monitor performance of the online store and all online marketing activities. This position will perform one or more of the following tasks in support of the online business objectives:
Position Responsibilities:
- Gather and report key online traffic, transaction, and related metrics on a regular basis, and/or lead others in the same
- Create reports and metrics used to assess the performance of online campaigns
- Create and analyze standardized reports to increase opportunities in our existing and future online market.
- Provide data in support of detailed analysis of past performance and forecasting future performance
- Perform detailed, complete reconciliation of online data obtained from various sources, identify differences, and work with key stakeholders to eliminate discrepancies to the greatest extent possible
- Design and develop reports and dashboards for a wide variety of stakeholders throughout the company
- Perform ad hoc reporting as needed to support both the online and overall Kaspersky business objectives
- Utilize Omniture to confirm that all marketing channels and ad hoc promotions are tracked, identifying abandonment issues and developing options to improve conversion, and ensuring the accuracy of the analytics implementation by validating the data collected.
- Perform ROI analysis of various marketing channels to determine best profit opportunities.
- Proactively identify and lead efforts to identify opportunities to modify reports to better meet the needs of the business
- Off-site analytics pertain to measurements of our website’s potential audience, visibility, and share of market.
- Analyzes web analytics data as well as other offline data to monitor website performance (e.g. customer experience, fall out points, customer demographics & trends, etc.).
- Defines and analyzes metrics to measure and enhance on-site search term performance.
- Defines and manages analysis to create data-driven insights about search engine visitor behavior (both organic and pay-per-click) on order volume, conversion rates, navigation behavior, and product selection.
- Integrates agency reports with internal data to measure and forecast sales and ROI for SEO and SEM projects.
- Participates in website projects as a measurement and analytics expert, identifying reporting requirements, creating and managing report implementation, and analyzing post-launch metrics.
- Develops analysis to discover underperforming areas of the website to identify opportunities to improve site performance.

The ability to effectively communicate with Web Developers and working knowledge of basic web technologies (JavaScript, AJAX, Flash, SQL, HTML, ATG, web platforms, etc.)

Excellent business and web analysis skills

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or related field. Master’s degree or equivalent work experience required

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Word, & Access)

Advanced proficiency in Excel with detailed knowledge of Pivot Tables and Functions
