Position Description:
Key Responsibilities:
To ensure proper books of accounts are maintained in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and International Accounting Standards;
To ensure all receipts and payments of the Bank are properly received and spent properly;
To ensure that the Bank's Financial Regulations are adhered to
To ensure implementation of various system introduced by the Bank;
Ensure that the Systems of Internal controls. both Physical and Financial are working effectively and that there are no deviations thereof;

Branch Accountant Position Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare revenue for processing; Maintaining all branch book of accounting;
Prepare and timely submit regular internal/external reports to H/O and BOT
Balancing of branch book of accounts
Tracks revenue transactions through monthly report reconciliations; Process clearances and collections of clients' instruction;
Monitoring the minimum and maximum cash levels on a day to day basis and; Handling any treasury related activities and provide technical support in accounting for treasury related instruments and any other accounting requirements as deemed necessary;

Position Description:
Key Responsibilities
Recommend approval of loans applications within policy guidelines
Regularly review non -performing classes of outstanding loans and initiates plans/strategies for recovery of those loans;
Administering group loans application, appraisal and disbursement; Administering Group formation in corroboration with branch manager and head of credit;
Training Customers the use of Bank products;
Managing loan portfolio to ensure that the portfolio at risk is very small; Preparation of portfolio monthly and Quarterly reports;
Answer enquiries concerning loan balances, penalties and credit standing of customers;
Keep records of arrears (behind in payments) and prepare routine letters or make telephone calls requesting payment;
Make recommendations to the Head of Credit and Branch Manager about the likelihood of recovering loans and whether legal action will be required; Prepare reports on credit ratings of customers;
Relocates, identifies, seeks contact with defaulters and reminds them of their obligations towards the bank and/or discusses with them how to serve the outstanding loan. This shall involve a re-analysis of the defaulter's financial status followed by a comprehensive agreement with the customer on a rescheduled repayment plan;
Properly classifies all loans under his/her control and informs Head of Credit of necessary provisions every month;
Performs daily, weekly: monthly loan accounting work, as required for off balance sheet loans (written off);
Compiles all required periodic recovery returns for the Branch;
To ensure strict and continuous follow-up of his/her outstanding portfolio by checking the daily up-dated arrears list;

Position Description:
Key Responsibilities
As Credit Risk Owner, identifies, mitigates, and monitors risks in credit function; Plans and initiates strategies for portfolio development and recovery of loans; Conducts market surveys and identifies new and viable markets for lending business;
Reviews lending policies and procedures on a regular basis and submits appropriate improvement plans and strategies;
Coordinates all recovery activities and ensures prompt recovery;
Monitors and controls the performance of all loans, and overdrafts including staff loans;

Deliver fast efficient and customer friendly services to customers
