Presidential Chairs and Group Tables

Requirements:

1. Ethio Telecom invites all interested and eligible National Competitive Bid (NCB) for the procurement of imported high quality presidential tables, presidential chairs and group tables (Tender No TL/ET/60/11). The tender remains floating from September 26, 2011 to October 15, 2011 .

2. Sealed bids marked: “for the procurement of different imported high quality presidential tables, presidential chairs, and group tables and addressed to:

Ethio Telecom
Churchill Road
Head Office, Room No. 203
P. O. Box: 1047
Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Bid proposal will be received at the Churchill Road, Head Quarter 2nd floor, Room No. 203, October 15, 2011 until 5:00 P.M. Bids presented by any bidder after the closing date shall not be accepted.

2.1 Bids not accompanied by bid security or for which bid security is not received separately before or at the opening time shall be rejected and shall be returned unopened to the bidders.

2.2 The bid bond shall be furnished in one of the following forms:-

a) Cash
b) Certified Cheque /CPO issued by a recognized domestic bank
c) Bond issued by and/or confirmed through a recognized/reputable Domestic Bank.

The Bank that issues the bond as per 2.3 (c) here above shall unequivocally guarantee to pay the purchaser immediately upon the first written demand of payment. The Purchaser’s written demand of payment shall not be subject to any condition what so ever.

2.3 The bond issuing bank shall clearly incorporate the content stated under above clause 2 on the issued bond.


3. ELIGIBLE BIDDERS

This invitation to bid is open to all interested local bidders as per the requirements
stated here below:

a) Bid Security
b) Availability of Letter of Authorization to sign the bid offers;
c) Anti bribery Pledge form;
d) Bidders should have a valid and renewed trade license for the year;
e) Bidders should be registered with the appropriate government organ (MOPFED, ET, MOI, etc.) as may be appropriate;
f) Bidders Should Produce tax clearance certificate;
g) Bidders should be VAT registered.

3.1 Bids received in time and fulfilling the other formalities shall be opened with the presence of interested bidders or their representatives at 10:00 A.M. on October 16, 2011 at Churchill Road, Head Office at Addis Ababa, Room No. 205, possibly.

3.2 Ethio Telecom reserves the right to reject all or parts of this bid.

3.3 Partial bid is allowed

4. Bidders are strongly advised to read and comply with the instruction provided in the “Instruction to Bidders" in Section II of this Bid Document.
