Medical Centre (MAMC) at University New Campus of Mloganzilla.
Medical Specialist II - 5 POSTS
a) Required Qualifications'
Holder of Master of Medicine or its equivalent in the respective field of specialization and a working experience of at least one year since its attainment. The candidate must be fully registered by the Medical Council of Tanganyika. Posses on of PhD will be an added advantage
b) .Area of Specialization
a. Emergency Medicine
b. Orthopedics and Trauma
c. General Surgery
d. Anesthesiology
c) Duties and Responsibilities
i. Carry out ward rounds (service, major and post admissions as planned)
ii. Attends emergency medical Duties and Responsibilities.
iii. Runs outpatient clinics, public and private as per schedule
iv. Participates fully in morning clinical sessions, patients' presentation and journal clubs
v. Conduct research in their respective fields of specializations.
vi. Participate fully in the teaching of medical students, and supervision of medical doctors, and other health professionals. Participates in Medical Boards as may be appointed.
vii. Initiates, Creates and plans strategies to improve his/her professional services.
viii. Provides Medical legal advice when required.
ix. Performs any other Duties and Responsibilities related to his/her work as assigned by his/ her superior.
