Position Overview

The candidate will work under the supervision of the Research Director to assist in carrying out different activities related to evaluations of different research aspects of the program. This will include carrying out field visits to review and collect relevant data for program evaluations. Additionally, the candidate will be involved in training on data collection, protocol activities, and other duties as assigned by the Research Director. He/she will be required to work closely with other teams in the program that include but are not limited to the M & E, Medical, Laboratory and Outreach Departments of the Program.

• Review and Collect Data at facilities for analysis purposes
• Enter and Post all monitoring data from facilities into respective database.
• Prepare and report the data entry status on weekly/monthly/semi-annual and yearly for program use.
• Make queries {for specific periods on data collected for a specific period and cross check it with the data on source documents.
• Prepare, compile and sort documents for data entry for reporting issues.
• Check source documents for accuracy
• Cross check & verify data from source documents and correct were necessary
• Communicate with facilities and gather information for any incomplete data information.
• Keep and safe custody of all data entered in designated locations
• Comply with data integrity and security policies
Qualifications:
The suitable candidate should:
• Have a certificate in data analysis or equivalent relevant training.
• Have basic knowledge on data collection and analysis.
• Have basic knowledge of Monitoring and Evaluation Principles and Procedures.
• Have a basic understanding and knowledge of data analysis packages like EXCEL, STATA and/or SPSS.
• Good mastery of written and spoken English
