Deputy Director of the Independent Office of Evaluation, D-1, based at our Headquarters in Rome, Italy.

IFAD is seeking an experienced and recognized evaluation professional as Deputy Director of the Independent Office of Evaluation (IOE); a committed and capable manager with a deep understanding of evaluation methodologies and commitment to rural poverty reduction. He/she will contribute to the successful implementation of the Fund’s evaluation policy and to the effective management of IFAD IOE’s programme of work. Under the direct supervision of the Director, the Deputy Director will promote accountability and learning in IFAD, thus contributing to the improvement of the performance of IFAD’s operations and policies.
