Job Introduction:
The successful incumbent will provide generalist Human Resources support services in the various human resource functions which include, recruitment, training and development, performance and employee engagement, in compliance with legislation and G4S policies and procedures.
Role Responsibility:
Team Work and Collaboration
- Providing administrative support to the HR Team
- Overseeing the Induction programme for our new starters
- Administration of G4S HR policies, procedures and documentation in compliance with legislation

- Assist in recruitment and selection process
- Responsibility for maintaining and updating the HR database
- Responsibility for the administration and maintenance of employees Personnel Files
- Responsibility for processing leavers
Customer Focus
- Responsibility for informing payroll of any employee changes/updates and for preparing and sending the monthly payroll checklist
- Answers general questions and inquiries for various areas of HR
- Able to give policy and procedural advice to line managers
- Able to liaise with external providers
Performance
- Manage the absence procedure and record and monitor absences. Work with line managers to review departmental absence.
- Able to work within a fasted paced environment and able to produce documentation/reports at short notice

- Competent representation of the business in Human Resources administrative dealings

- Escalating promptly to Head of HR all urgent matters relating to employment relations

The Ideal Candidate:
- A minimum of 3 years experience of generalist HR Administration and support
- HR Professional Qualification i.e. Degree in Human Resources or Public Administration
- Strong communication skills i.e verbal and written
- Knowledge and understanding of Labour Law and best practice within HR
- Experience of producing reports, leavers, starter, sickness absence from HR Data base
- Computer i.e. Microsoft office applications
