Overall responsibility:
Responsible for all direct sales to hotels in the tourist industry on Zanzibar of waste management services. Responsible for developing new product offerings and developing strategies for how to improve the value propositions for customers. Setting sales targets and follow up on performance. Assisting in developing new products and business areas for the company. Gathering customer market information and feedback from clients to continuously improve our service offering.
Support and develop Zanrec’s value proposition in the waste, energy and water sectors to the hotel industry together with the Zanrec management team.
Key areas of responsibility
- Further develop Zanrec sales by:
- Get more customers to subscribe to our service
- Increase sales to existing clients by developing new services and products and by developing new customer segments
- Maintain and deepen the relationship with existing clients and gather feedback for product development
- Develop annual, quarterly and weekly sales forecasts in close dialogue with project team
- Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams
- Develop specific plans to ensure revenue growth
- Formulate all sales policies, practices and procedures
- Ensure safe and sustainable working conditions

- Customers and other stakeholders in the hotel industry and actors in the field of renewable energy
- Zanrec management and operational team
- Accounting department
- Company legal advisor
Desired Skills and Experience
Qualifications
- Strong sense of customer service and sales
- 5 years sales management experiences
- Self-action an goal oriented
- Skills of partaking in team based management
- Skilled in MS Office (including MS Word & Excel)
- English fluent both spoken and written
- Good driving record
Previous experience
A university degree in marketing or business studies is preferred; or a minimum of five years of related experience of sales. Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information. Experience in developing marketing and sales strategies. Waste management experiences is preferable.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, plus a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required. A valid driver’s license.
