REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
• Degree in engineering (civil engineer resource, environmental sanitation or hydraulics.)
• Registered with ERB as a professional engineering.
• Second degree in relevant field is an added advantage.
• Age should not be above 45 years.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY
The assistant manager- water loss management (AM-WLM) is the head of water loss management section that is responsible for controlling water loss and safeguarding activities that result into water loss management in the authority. In particular, he/she
• Direct daily operation of the section, analyzing work low, establishing priorities, developing standard and setting deadlines.
• Ensure all customer water meters are in good working condition.
• Insure inspection of water meters at site carries out to determine their function status, sealed tempered with intactness.
• Report to non- functioning water meter and make fallow ups to ensure they are promptly replaced.
• Report to on unsealed water meters and make fallow –ups to ensure all customer water meters are properly sealed.
• Cross-check to ensure to that all water customers have reading cards and the same well filled monthly.
• Inspects all districts out regular customer premises inspection to identify illegal water uses, report on the same make fallow ups to ensure they property dealt with.
• Liaises with the technical department and commercialdepertmentbto establish proper water balance.
• Carries out regular customers premises inspection to identify illegal water uses, report on the same make fallow-ups to ensure they are properly dealt with.
• Carries out regular inspection of water network to identify leaks, report on the same and make fallow ups to ensure they are repaired.
• Makes fallow-ups on customer complaints related to loss and enforce their handling by appropriate sections.
• Plans, develops, implement and control operational budget and expenditure in water loss management.
• Develops and interprets organization goals policies and procedure relating to water loss management.
• Provides professional device to the MD on water loss matters.
• Preforms any other duties assigned by his/her superiors.
