Job Title : Regional Sales Representative
Workstation : Any Region in Tanzania
Job Purpose
1. Contributing to Maxcom Africa’s strategic goals
2. Continually improving the present (and future) performance of Maxcom Africa in Tanzania
3. Working to improve Dealer’s and Salesmen’s field performance
4. Ensuring Sales force, Dealers and whole Salers comply with the Basic Routine and work with discipline and processes as defined by Maxcom Africa
Finally ensure: Distribution of Maxcom Africa products, relationship building with retail outlets and provide dealer support
Key Responsibilities
1. Direct distribution execution (100% availability of Maxcom products )
2. Coordinating training of dealers/wholesaler’s' salemen, staff , Freelances to assist them meeting KPI's.
3. Perform retail audits to ensure that salesman are delivering training to POS agents, ensuring there is 100% understanding of all services and products offered by Maxcom
4. Compile distribution reports at agreed intervals to Zonal manager /Commercial Manager
5. Follow up and ensure that wholesalers/Freelancers targets are met.
6. Ensure POS machines stocks supply is at capacity –no gap between supply and demand.
7. Ensuring Maxcom agents are strategically located and are fully stocked at all times.
8. Effectively Manage Salesman
9. Define routes and visits’ frequencies
10. Meet monthly audits targets
11. Review of daily increase/decrease in sales
12. Issuing reports requested by zonal manager and management or general management in timely and professional manner.
13. Effectively handle other tasks assigned as and of when they arise
Key Responsibilities – As a Manager
1. Prepare and submit monthly itinerary on the first working day of the month
2. Prepare daily route before going out on the street
3. Manage the portfolio of POS in their area
4. Visit POS (Target: 100% POS/month)
5. With Salesman (Accompaniment – three times weekly)
6. During sale: observe salesman; fill out evaluation form
7. Following sale: provide feedback to salesman as coaching
8. Without Salesman (Back Check)
9. Visit circuit a day after Salesman
10. Draw and map new and migrated POS on the printed map
11. Ensure idle POS are Less than 10% of your POS base
