The International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) works to enhance the roles livestock play in pathways out of poverty in developing countries. ILRI is a member of the CGIAR Consortium, a global research partnership of 15 centres working with many partners for a food-secure future. ILRI has two main campuses in East Africa in Kenya and Ethiopia, offices in Tanzania and Uganda and other hubs in West and southern Africa and South, Southeast and East Asia. www.ilri.org.

This is a Nationally Recruited Staff (NRS) position based in Mbeya, Tanzania at the East Africa Dairy Development Project (EADD) Project Office located there, and coordination through the ILRI-Tanzania Office at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) East Africa Hub in Dar es Salaam
Responsibilities:
• Provide technical backstopping in the implementation of surveys and other data collection exercises in the EADD sites, as per the EADD Monitoring, Learning and Evaluation (MLE) framework
• Analyze MLE data and present the results to EADD consortium partners and other stakeholders
• Be the ILRI contact person in the EADD country office.
Requirements:
• A Master's degree in Agricultural Economics with a minimum of 2 years' experience
• Proven experience working with producers organization and/or other value chain actors in a .• research in development (RinD) project
• Excellent data management and analysis skills
• Excellent writing skills in English
General information:
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
• The initial contract for the position is two years: Renewable subject to perform and availability of funds
