The International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) works to enhance the roles livestock play in pathways out of poverty in developing countries. ILRI is a member of the CGIAR Consortium, a global research partnership of 15 centres working with many partners for a food-secure future. This is a Nationally Recruited Staff (NRS) position based in Mbeya, Tanzania at the East Africa Dairy Development Project (EADD) Project Office located there, and coordination through the ILRI-Tanzania Office at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) East Africa Hub in Dar es Salaam

Responsibilities:
• Provide technical backstopping in the implementation of surveys and other data collection exercises in the EADD sites, as per the EADD Monitoring, Learning and Evaluation (MLE) framework
• Analyze MLE data and present the results to EADD consortium partners and other stakeholders
• Be the ILRI contact person in the EADD country office.

Requirements:
• A Master's degree in Agricultural Economics with a minimum of 2 years' experience
• Proven experience working with producers organization and/or other value chain actors in a .• research in development (RinD) project
• Excellent data management and analysis skills
• Excellent writing skills in English

General information:
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
• The initial contract for the position is two years: Renewable subject to perform and availability of funds
