Requirements :
- College degree in Civil Engineering or the equivalent
- More than 5 years experience in managing facilities or constructing projects and fleet/transport management
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word&Excel)and familiarity with computer basis is preferred
- Knowledge of relevant software application i.e spreadsheets, word and fleet management database
- Ability to communicate well with customers and other employees
Job Description :On Facilities- Lead in all building/space lease negations and planning
- Understand MDH space needs, identify adequate space for the MDH operations and propose options for future space needs to the CEO and COO for consideration
- Monitor daily operations of all plumbing,ventilation and electrical systems
- Manage all preventive maintenance contracts, activities and repairs
- Establish project specifications, review and evaluate contractor bids and evaluate costs and proposals for all major repairs and renovations
- manage inspections, permit filings and renewals and other related supplies and equipment On Transportation
- Implement and enforce transport policies and procedures
- Ensure timely renewal of insurance and renewal of permits and load licenses
- Prepare weekly report of vehicle status for management review
- Periodical assessment of vehicle assignment and routes to ensure efficient use of resorces
