Technology, Projects and Drilling (TPD) aims to provide safe, efficient and cost competitive global well and project delivery, where cost competitive procurement will be an important contributing factor. As Statoil’s technology centre, the business area aims to ensure commercially focused global technology development and implementation. Warehouse Management for Production facilities in Norway is located at site, and is in close operation with the business. We deliver Warehouse Management to Mongstad, Kårstø, Sture&Kollsnes and Tjeldbergodden with local teams. TPD Procurement and supplier relations (PSR) is responsible for the supply chain management (SCM) process ensuring safe and efficient supply of products and services to all our operations and development projects globally. The organisation possesses comprehensive competence within all parts of the supply chain process, from market analysis and procurement to transportation and logistics.
Be part of daily work in Warehouse Management at site
Do goods receipt
Handle of incoming goods (unloading), and distribute to business line
Intern transport of goods with use of forklift
Variable warehouse tasks
Deliver in summer project - propose improvements and suggest ways of implementing such changes in a supply chain
No more than 1 year of relevant experience (please note research under a PhD are not be considered relevant experience)
Have completed at least 2 years of relevant bachelor studies
Forklift licence (preferable)
Good PC knowledge
Study programs relevant for working in procurement/supply chain management
Candidate must be able to work independently and be structured, systematic and good team players
Systematically and exact in work operations
High ethical standards and a commercial understanding
Strong communication and collaboration skills
