- A framework to enhance their educational experience through practical work assignments, thereby developing skills which are useful for their career and future employment
- Experience of working in a multicultural, multidisciplinary and multi-ethnic environment, contributing to the development of mutual understanding, trust and tolerance

PRIMARY DUTIES
The IGCI Executive Office assists the IGCI Executive Director in the management of the Executive Directorate. The IGCI Executive Office may also represent the Executive Director at internal and external meetings.The main responsibilities of this unit are as follows:
- Formulating and developing strategies and policies related to IGCI
- Maintaining oversight of IGCI business plans and activities
- Coordinating the Executive Director’s interactions with both internal and external parties
- Representing the Executive Director at internal and external meetings
- Maintaining oversight of IGCI communications and publications
- Executing special assignments and projects
- Preparing briefs, reports, visit management and coordination, research
- Carrying out any other duty assigned by the supervisor
REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS INTERNSHIP
All candidates will be assessed on the under mentioned requirements.
- Be a national of one of INTERPOL’s 190 member countries
- Have attained the legal age of majority in their country of nationality
Training/Education
- Be enrolled in a, or have graduated from, a post-secondary accredited academic institution within the past six months (with at least a Bachelor Degree) on the date of submission of their application in Political Science and/or International Relations (or similar)
Languages
- Fluency in English
Specific skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
In addition to the requirements, the following would be beneficial.
- A good command of any other INTERPOL official working language (Arabic, French or Spanish)
- Knowledge of any other language
- Knowledge of strategic background studies is a plus
