DESIGNATION: Card Services Manager
REPORTS TO: HEAD OF OPERATIONS AND SERVICE DELIVERY
Job Purpose:
Provide unit leadership, implement and manage card Production, Customer Service and Channel Support Operations as destined in the bank's service level agreement. The role requires the incumbent to work closely within country and SSC process and product owners to ensure seamless delivery distribution and usage of cards. To manage card' business performance reporting process and support card sales through liaison with SSC and support Channel Operations In (BA Tanzania.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure effectiveness of Card Operations structure and systems (policies, processes, procedures and tools) in achieving COI11pllance requirements, optimal efficiency, resource utilization and cost containment.
• Ensure adequacy of personnel and staff competence to effectively perform Card Operations, Customer Service and Channels Support tasks.
• To develop and maintain strategic reiationshlps with the CBAT Card Industry, windors, 3rd parties and other stakeholders.
• To provide support on b;-house Card and PIN production. . .
• To provide management oversight for card business profit Improvement and costs management.
• Ensure channel availability and on-going performance monitoring.
• To ensure that there Is adequate risk management and mitigation strategies.
• Provide strong and strategic unit leadership, which translates into conducive work environment satisfaction,
• Ensure Card customer experience in CBAT is within Group standards.
• Be key liaison person for all CBA-T branches on all issues that are Card related,
Qualifications And Competency Required: .
• -University degree or equivalent qualifications.
• Seven years’ experience In card and Channel Business.
• Extensive knowledge In Card Business (Issuing. acquiring. credit. operations. risk and fraud management.
• Full and extensive knowledge of Visa rules. and obligations. compliance regulations and chargeback reason codes.
• Banking knowledge In related fields
• Working knowledge of e-channel management.
