ASSISTANT MANAGER OPERATION POSITION

With 25 operational branches in Tanzania, DTB is now looking for capable and qualified individuals to fill the following positions.
ASSISTANT MANAGER OPERATION
Reporting to Manager Operations the incumbent will be responsible for supervising and monitoring daily centralized operations to ensure efficient operations and delivery of effective financial services to customers.

Key Responsibilities;
• Provides operational support for effective branch operations and networks.
• Ensure centralized operations workflow Is efficiently managed.
• Monitor the work output of the centralized operations units.
• Implement advice on sound operational programmes to ensure fraud mitigation and prevention.
• Ensure the management of local process performance standards, cost and timelines of execution and delivery. Including security logistics branch network system ATMs, and telecommunications needs, to ensure that the support functions offer the branch customers an efficient convenient and relationship supportive service.
• Rectification of audit irregularities and ensure operational staff including at branches adheres to internal procedure

Educational qualifications
• Post graduate qualification in Banking, Accounting or Finance e.g. MBA degree or any other relevant
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA / CPA. CUB is an added advantage
Experience" competencies required
• 6 years minimum Banking experience out of which 3years should be in a supervisory capacity.
• At least 2 years' experience as Branch Manager of a large branch will be an added advantage.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills
• Familiar with application of Technology
• Strong evaluation, communication and reporting skills
• Entrepreneurial and Commercial Thinking individual
• Able to provide advice and cause/effect evaluation to support business decision making
