Head of Facilities at Amnesty International

For over 50 years Amnesty International (AI) has brought people together to fight for human rights. Today the Amnesty International movement continues to push for the development and implementation of legal standards and norms in order to empower human rights activism globally.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Directors of Amnesty International have taken the decision to distribute its London based office to a number of Regional Offices worldwide. In this period of transition Amnesty International requires an Interim Head of Facilities to manage both its London office and oversee the establishment of facilities functions in its internationally located Regional Offices. The successful applicant will be responsible for the delivery of excellent facilities services worldwide through managing the Facilities Department to support Amnesty International’s human rights work. In addition, Amnesty International is about to refurbish its London office, to reconfigure the working space supporting new ways of working. The Interim Head of Facilities will play a key role in supporting the delivery of this project. 

ABOUT YOU:

Ideally educated to degree level with a passion for the delivery of excellent facilities services to a mission driven people focussed organisation. You must have significant experience in sourcing office spaces and delivering complex refurbishment projects in UK & overseas on time and in budget, together with a strong ability to negotiate contracts for goods and services, to obtain the best value for money for Amnesty International.
