SKOL BREWERY Ltd entered the Rwandan market in 2010 with an ambition to win 20% of market share by 2020. It has been registered as a Public Company Limited by Share, a subsidy of Belgium-based UNIBRA. SKOL Brewery Ltd (SBL Ltd) remains the fast growing brewery of international quality beer in Rwanda. We specialize in the Production and Distribution of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beers and we are increasingly renowned for offering SKOL and VIRUNGA beer brands.

In order to respond to our growing market with the required human capital, we are currently looking for experienced professionals in the Following areas:

1. UTILITIES SUPERVISOR (1)

The job-holder ensures uninterrupted utilities supplies to various user/consumers in brewery within standard norms and set performance and safety standard.

Key responsibilities

• Provides carbon dioxide needed for brewing in the location
• Provides water for brewing, bottling and other users,
• Provides compressed air for operating own plant and equipments
• Provides steam for heating in brewing vessels, de-aerated, water plant and bottling line equipment.
• Provides cooling for CO2 plant, wort cooling, fermenting tanks, and ensure that these operate efficiently.
• Provides electricity for (generator, public), for all users, and operations to meet total plant requirement
• Treats the waste water from the brewery for environmental friendly recuperation

Qualification requirements & Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree (Ao) or Diploma (A1) in Mechanics,  Electrical field with a min of 4-5 years working at a similar position in Fast Moving Consumers Goods production FMCG or others industries.

2. SENIOR SPARE PARTS STORE KEEPER (1)

The jobholder receives and inspects all incoming material and reconciles with purchase orders; processes and distributes documentation with purchase orders; verifies that supplies received are listed on requisition and invoices.

Key responsibilities

• Reports, documents and tracks damages and discrepancies on orders received.
• Stores, tags, and tracks received goods, documents storage and transportation keeps stock records.
• Maintains the warehouse and records area in a neat and orderly manner. 

Qualification requirements & Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree (Ao) or Diploma (A1) in Mechanics,  Electrical field with a min of 4-5 years working at a similar position in Fast Moving Consumers Goods production (FMCG) or others industries.    

3. EXPORT MANAGER (1)

The jobholderdevelops Skol Brewery Ltd.’s portfolio in a number of designated African countries, supported by distributors and their local sales structure. As such develop our volumes and market shares at the same time as our profitability

Key responsibilities

• Develops export sales for the SKOL Brewery Ltd.’s portfolio
• Sets up an annual target plan for export with a detailed business plan per country
• Handles orders and follow up of correct payment as well as packaging management per customer
• Interacts with production for local packaging adjustments
• Develops and recommends POS materials for export use.
• Sets up of local sales/marketing support structure trough the agreed distributors 

Qualification requirements & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree (Ao) management, marketing and any field related with a min. of 2-3 years working experience at a similar position in Fast Moving Consumers.

4. TRADE MARKETING MANAGER (1)

The jobholder maximizes the visibility of SBL’s products at POP and ensures execution of consumer activations at POP. To this end the JH develops jointly with the Commercial Director trade marketing plans, processes and strategies to continually improve the competitive position of the Company.

Key responsibilities   

• Is the companies ambassador of the Trade Marketing philosophy and communicates and implements the philosophy at its best
• Develops, proposes and implements the companies Channel strategy
• Develops, proposes and implements the In-store visibility plans
• Develops, proposes and implements the Coverage planning for the own field force
• Organizes training for our field force on the principles of Trade Marketing
• Ensures that the field force activities for each visit cycle are planned and well prepared
• Ensures that the BTL and consumer activities are evaluated and key learnings are communicated

Qualification requirements & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree (Ao) management, marketing and any field related with a min. of 2-3 years working experience at a similar position in Fast Moving Consumers.

5. AUTOMATION AND ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (1)

The Jobholder has  ensure the performance and availability of brewery wide electric power distribution, production control systems, instrumentation, electrical /electronic control systems, and process automation software and hardware to produce appropriate quantity of products with consistent high quantity.

 Advises the Chief Engineer, on automation related requirements/ constraints affecting above objectives.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Maximizing Brewery-wide Plant Availability and Performance 

• Support of Brewing ,Packaging and Utilities planned Maintenance activities in relation to automation related plans and activities
• Support of Brewing, Packaging and Utilities with automation skill and know-how during Breakdown maintenance troubleshooting and repairs.
• Specialty Guidance in the preparation of checklist for Autonomous Maintenance activities in Brewing ,Packaging and Utilities departments
• Recommending / executing optimizations to enhance plant performance.
• Providing On-Call automation support in case of emergencies.
• Initiatingand providing connection for Remote Support uplink of process automation systems by suppliers in Europe in case of emergencies 

Qualification requirements & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree Ao   in electrical or electronic with 3 years working in brewery or beverage industries.
