The vacancy for Managing Director at Rijk Zwaan Tanzania
Rijk Zwaan in Tanzania will be jointly led by a team of three Managing Directors, each with an area of special attention. We offer a challenging job within a growing organization.
Your focus will be mainly on Human Resources, Finance, IT and Legal activities. An important aim is to develop a good control system for internal auditing. Together with the co-Directors you develop a strategic view on investments and budgets, research & breeding efforts, product development, seed production and sales. You have an important people-orientated role for serving a well-functioning team.

Desired Skills and Experience

We are looking for a Managing Director who:

• Has a Master’s degree in Business Economics or Management Studies (Finance, HR)
• Has a people oriented management style
• Has experience in working in an international company
• Lives in Arusha or is willing to move to this area.

Next to that you have good analytical and social skills and you have a practical nature. You like to work in a team, solve problems, collaborating with various specialists and to build new relationships. You can cope with stress and are able to work in a structured manner. Fluency in English and Swahili is essential. Affinity with agriculture is an advantage.
