Twiga Bancorp Limited (TBCL) is a growing Non-Bank Financial Institution established under the Banking and Financial Institution Act (1991). The Institution has five Branches, two in Dar es salaam and one each in Arusha, Dodoma and Mwanza.
The Institution also operates sub-Branch activities at the Julius Nyerere International Aikrport, Nyerere Memorial Academy in Kigamboni, Dar es salaam as well as service outlet in Bunda, Mara Region. The Institution is in the process of managing changes by reengineering its organizational structure, introducing new products and reinforcing efficiency and Professionalism in its operations. Head Of Internal Audit
a) APPOINTING AUTHORITY: Board of Directors

c) ENTRY QUALIFICATION:
Holder of a Master’s Degree in Accounting Finance or equivalent with CPA (T), ACCA, ACA, or ICMA from a recognized professional Institution with not less than 10 years relevant working experience in a reputable firm, 4 of which should be at Senior Managerial level. Must have been registered by NBAA as an Authorized/Certified Public Audit
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Head the Internal Audit Department
• Auditing of Head Office, Departments and Branches and preparation of reports for submission to the Board of Directors and External Auditors
• Prepare a comprehensive internal audit program for the TBCL
• Review the internal control system including authorization of expenditures and budgeting control
• Examine and check accounting record and financial statements/reports
• Verify assets and liabilities at regular and irregal intervals
• Review the economy, efficiency and effectiveness of the TBCL’s projects and programs
• Review compliance with internal policies and directives
• Advise and consult with appropriate head of departments or units on audit findings
• Conduct special investigations wherever required;
• Co-ordinate preparation of internal audit reports
• Provide efficient administration of the Internal Audit department
• Appraise staff performance in the Internal Audit department
• Formulate and recommend long term and short term plans of the Audit Department
• Performs any other duties as may be assigned by the CEO

Holder of Bachelor Degree or Advanced Diploma in Finance Banking, Economics Planning, Commerce Accountancy with not less than 9 years working experience in Banking in similar roles, 3 which should be at Senior Managerial level
• Directly responsible for the TBCL Business Strategy, and its implementation
• Lead the process of sourcing developing and implementing new strategies and products in TBCL and ensure business growth
• Direct TBCL savings Culture abd lead n the development and implementation of processes including building of teams that makes the bank achieve its saving and credit goals
• Manage TBCL is Retail Banking Marketing and Treasury activities and ensure profitability of the Bank operations
• Direct the development of Sales and Marketing Strategies to create awareness, improving sales skills to the filed staff and maximizing TBCL brand visibility abd trust in the market as well as to the stakeholders
• Drive profitability growth of existing products and ensure TBCL manages a quality and strong Loan portfolio
• Provide strategies leadership on sales and products distribution channels (e.g. selection of new branch locations and development of new banking channels) for retail banking in a way that supports business outreach while providing an excellent customer experience
• Assist in developing TBCL brand at the company and product levels and ensure proper measures are in place to manage reputational risks
• Assist in development and implementation of a core set of research content areas (outreach competition, customer service, social performance) that provide3s reliable and relevant information to guide improvement and innovation in TBCL products and services
• Provide leadership and mentorship to product Managers, Regional Managers and Branch Managers on ways to improve all aspects of financial services delivery
• Order to develop or strengthen business relationships
• Ensure good planning in the Treasury Department in relation to liquidity and management of asset and liability
• Ensure TBCL cash and bank balances are manager effectively to maximize returns on cash and bank balance
• Ensure the bank investment decision (including FDR) is wisely decided and the bank gets the Carrying out any other duties as assigned by CEO

• Serving on various TBCL committee as representative of the directorate of Human Resources and administration and Assist the CEO in day to day Staff matters activities
• Review and advice on training programmes, human resources and administrative policies and procedures, inventory and personnel record and data, staff leave, Insurance cover and security
• Ensure maintenance of good public image of the TBCL through well-mannered staff and clear surroundings
• Responsible for compensation claims, medical, disciplinary affairs and TBCL functions
• Formulates, recommends and ensure adherence to Administrative and Human Resources Policies Procedures, Procedures and Regulations
• Processing recommendations for staff Performance Appraisals, promotions, Transfers and Salaries
