INFORMATION SERVICES ASSISTANT
Job Summary:
Reporting to an Information Services (IS) Officer, the Information Services Assistant will provide technical support and advice to help staff effectively use computer software and hardware. The position holder will be involved in maintenance of ICT infrastructure including telephony, local and wide-area network, as well as virtual server &storage systems. The role entails providing a first port of call for all IT-related user problems, as well as performing backoffice technical duties.

Job Specifications:
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Management Information Systems;
• Cisco Network Administration Certification;
• VMWare Certification and/or experience in IP Telephony are an added advantage;
• A minimum of two (2) years of jobrelated experience with demonstrable track record of solid performance in previous roles;
• Strong technical aptitude;
• Robust analytical skills with a methodical and disciplined approach to problem solving;;
• Excellent analytical, communication and customer service skills with ability to work in a multi-cultural setting.
