For additional information visit www.craneps.com We have an opportunity for a SALES ASSOCIATE who will be field based in Africa and responsible for direct and indirect sales activities in the Gaming, Retail and Financial Service sectors. Principal Accountabilities: • Actively prospect new markets and develop potential opportunities • Strengthen CPIs position with existing customers • Seize and maximize profitable sales opportunities • Ensure promotion of CPI payment solutions to operators and industrial integrators • Develop new market opportunities within the responsible sales territories. • Working with regional internal and external associates to plan, develop relationships and value sell to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM’s) and Casino operators. • Active participation in team sessions and trade shows • Allocate and manage fixed expense budgets • Business reviews and accurate planning/forecasting • Determine relevant package following pre set guidelines (e.g. pricing, margin, commission) to deliver future proof sales via distributers and direct to OEM’s. • Establish networks in developing markets. • Directly manage several distribution accounts. | |

Qualifications & Required profile: • It is essential the candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or technical field or equivalent along with extensive sales and marketing experience. • The successful candidate will be fluent in English and an African language with outstanding oral, telephonic and writing skills. • Living in Africa and willing to travel within the sales territories. • Proven ability to work independently in a sales role. • Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines. • Decision making agility • Excellent organisational and strategic planning skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously; attention to detail and commitment to excellence. • Ability to make effective oral and written presentations appropriately using influence and negotiation tactics; ability and confidence to present options and thoughts in a clear, unbiased manner. • Ability to learn from successes and failures and put best practices into action, applying them throughout the organization • Ability to access information using automated systems (e.g. windows based computer); experience with spreadsheets (Excel preferred) and word processing (Word preferred) – Essential. Experience of SalesForce.com and SAP systems - Desirable • Demonstrated ability to interact and sell to all levels of an organisation • The role requires 50% of domestic and African travel.
