EngenderHealth is an international NGO and works worldwide to improve the lives of individuals by making reproductive health services safe, available, and sustainable. We provide technical assistance, training, and information, with a focus on practical solutions that improve services where resources are scarce. We believe that individuals have the right to make informed decisions about their reproductive health and to receive care that meets their needs. We work in partnership with governments, institutions, and health care professionals to make this right a reality.
EngenderHealth is seeking expressions of interest from highly qualified candidates for staff positions on an anticipated DFID-funded gender-based violence prevention project.
Project Coordinator, based in the Dodoma Region of Tanzania, will be responsible for technical leadership, coordination and provide strategic oversight of project activities. S/he has an advanced degree in either social sciences or health, with at least 8 years’ experience working in gender-focused programs and management of such programs in Tanzania and/or other developing countries. S/he will provide specialist expertise in the following: gender-based violence prevention or response, gender programs, behavior change communications, media campaigns, training supervision. Experience working on the regional and community level preferred. Fluent spoken and written English required.
This position is subject to change based on procurement requirements and are contingent on EngenderHealth being awarded the project.
