Qualifications

and Skills

An advanced university degree (MA/MSc) Agriculture Rural

Development Studies or a related discipline.

Specialisation in nutrition

Fluency in English, both written and oral

Kiswahili would be an asset

Excellent communications skills and ability to interact with high level

government officials, international donors, NGOs etc.

Professional

experience

At least 6 years of professional experience in the analysis, design

and/or delivery of economic, environment, natural resources

management or rural development co-operation programmes;

Solid knowledge of EU policies and processes, in particular those

related to development food security and nutrition

Solid knowledge of agriculture, food security and nutrition policies

in Tanzania and/or East Africa

Previous experience with nutrition intervention

Previous experience in designing or implemnting social cash

tranfer intervention

Previous experience in Tanzania in the related sector would be an

assest
