Senior Procurement Specialist at Tigo Tanzania

• Responsible for managing Marketing & Sales categories and meet local targets of cost, quality, time, guarantees and services
• Responsible of efficiently managing the day to day relationship and transactions with Suppliers within Marketing & Sales categories, ensuring compliance with contracted terms and conditions, and MIC Internal Control policies

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Category Supply Strategy to achieve best in class Supplier Base

• Coordinate and negotiate requirements with local internal customers, and support them with the commercial side of enforcing contracted terms and performance

• Develop in depth industry understanding within his/her assigned Category, specifically concerning local competitive forces, breakthrough business or technology advances, and cost structure

• Support Local HoD P&SC and Procurement Manager in the development of specific category strategies and any other duties to be assigned

• Support Global P&SC Team in the development of specific category strategies, global tenders and / or negotiations

Position Requirements

• Bachelor in Business Administration,Engineerings, Technical or Economic and/or related careers
• Graduate level required, MBA desirable
