ROLE PURPOSE
- Build, lead and develop a high performance zone sales team
- Support, coach and participate as necessary in building customer relationship
- Contribute to the development of sales campaigns and lead implementation
- Achieve assigned sales and profit targets for the zone
- Assign sales and profit targets to each Implementation Manager
- Manage and control all sales activities across Implementation Managers, including demo setup and all demand creation activities
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Manage Implementation Managers by giving them clear directions, monitoring progress and tracking results, especially sales targets
- Build relationships in value chain (identify the lead influencers)
- Identify key crop, product and market opportunities and threats for area
- Develop the competence, motivation and commitment of agrodealers within the assigned zone through effective training, promotion and sales support aids
- Keep abreast of market, trade and competitor activity in order to revise strategies to meet changing requirements
- Contributes to forecasting and accuracy of sales volume
- Manage and develop high level of service delivery towards targeted Key Customers
- Focus resources on growers and key influencers in the food/feed chain - create pull approaches.

- Knowledge of key financial and marketing concepts and principles

- Broad technical know-how of crops, products and farming practices. (Approximately three years’ experience)
