Role Purpose You are responsible for the administration and reporting functions in the area of payroll and employee benefits. Key Responsibilities • Maintains personnel and pay records for Country employees to ensure accurate integration of such records with the payroll and benefit systems. • Maintains awareness of current rules and regulations pertinent to payroll, retirement and benefits and ensures the timeliness and accuracy of payroll, insurance premiums and claim payments. • Complete,verify and process forms and documentation for administration of benefits such as pension plans, leaves, share savings, employment and medical insurance • Maintain records of employee attendance, leave and overtime to calculate pay and benefit entitlements, in Tanzanian Shillings and other currencies, using manual or computerized systems • Prepare and verify statements of earnings for employees, indicating gross and net salaries and deductions such as taxes, union dues, and pension plans • Provide information to employees on payroll matters, benefit plans and collective agreement provisions • Compile statistical reports, statements, and summaries related to pay and benefits accounts. Position Requirements • Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Finance • At least 2 years work experience in payroll and accounting related job • Proficiency level in MS-Office package • Knowledge in payroll and accounting system APPLY |
