Occupational Safety and Health Authority (OSHA) is a Government Executive Agency Established by under the Executive Agencies Act No. 30 of 1997. Its main function is to promote good, sound and a healthy working environment by enforcing the Occupational Safety and Health Act. NO.5 of 2003 through inspection of work places to detect hazards which can affect the health of workers, conducting medical examination to workers, providing education and conducting training in Occupational Safety and Health. The ultimate goal is to have a healthy worker at a healthy work environment so as to increase productivity.

OSHA herby invites applications from qualified Tanzanian to fill the following posts.

Duty Station-Dar es Salaam

1 .1 MAIN DUTIES

Finding the causes ICT systems problems and make necessary restructuring Attending daily ICT system problems and keeping records of maintenance. Recommending policies, standards and procedures for the controlling efficient use of ICT systems in the Authority.

Preparing annual budgets and manpower, standards procedures for the controlling efficient use of ICT systems in the Authority.

Performing any other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.

1.2. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Holder of Bachelor Degree of Computer Science in Information communication Technology, Computer Science or any other related field from a recognized institution.

1.3. SALARY SCALE

OSHA-Scale 6.1
