Reports to Head of Human Resource and Administration
Duties and Responsibilities:
Developing and implementing reward and incentive policies and strategies; Assisting the Head of Department in keeping the Commission abreast of amendments to employment and labour related laws so as to align the internal policies and systems with the said amendments;
Preparing and up-dating staff records;
Preparing and maintaining Leave Roaster;
Ensuring good industrial relations and be a liaison with TUGHE;
Handling disciplinary and grievance procedures;
Assisting in handling of CMA and labour court matters;
Administering the provision. of identity and business cards to employees;
Organising sports and recreation activities;
Ensuring availability of utilities;
Ensuring office cleanliness and surroundings;
Monitoring vehicle management system;
Assisting in conducting induction programme to new employees;
Assisting the Head of Department in coordinating staff performance appraisal;
Coordinating human resource development programmes to meet identified needs;
Developing and administering Commission's employees health plans and
occupational safety programs;
Arranging staff travels;
Assisting in managing all matters pertaining to the security of the Commission;
Ensuring availability and maintenance of office equipment and furniture;
Performing any other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department from time to time.
specific Qualifications and Experience
Holder of Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration, Human Resources or Business Administration-HR from any recognized university.
3 years work experience in relevant field .
Possession of computer knowledge is an added advantage
