Reports to: Head of Information Systems and Services
Job Description
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Assisting the Head of Department in analysing the information needs at FCC in relation to IT and Library;
Conducting information systems reviews and recommending for improvement
as appropriate;
Recommending appropriate library materials for acquisition;
Assisting in development and maintenance of the IT based public register;
Implementing of ICT and Library policies and strategies;
Assisting in preparing periodic reports on the status of information technology and systems management in the organization;
Performing any other duties as assigned by the Head of Department from time to time
Specific entry qualifications and Experience:
Holder of Bachelor's Degree in any of the following fields; Information Sciences and/or Library Studies.
3 years work experience in relevant field
Knowledge of computer applications will be an added advantage

In addition to the above skills and qualifications, applicants for the above post are required to have the following attributes;
