Reports To/Line Manager to SENIOR MANAGER ALTERNATIVE CHANNELS JOB PURPOSE Responsible to ensure effective development, innovation and management of agency banking as an alternative channel of the business. MAIN ACCOUNT ABILITIES OF AGENCY BANKING MANAGER. Developing Agency banking business. Preparation of annual marketing plan for Agency banking and its budget. Review and process for approval agent’s selection. Oversee Agency Banking activities as per approved budget and plan. Monitor performance of Agencies and attending various issues concerning agency banking. Oversee activities of the agents and agents banking officer Preparation of policy manuals and review where necessary Ensure proper training of Agents To submit different analytical reports as required periodically Performing any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

COMPETENCIES
Commercially oriented, a strategic thinker, and able to discuss strategic and sensitive issues
Prior exposure to alternative channels institutions/ direct sales operations would be an added advantage
A team player with ability to work harmoniously with other internal and external parties
Fluency in English and Swahili
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
A degree in a relevant field of banking, finance or business with strong IT skills
Minimum 3 years’ experience in agency banking, microfinance or payment systems and or creating supporting mechanics for large projects
